Airports Authority's Commitment to Sustainability Extends to Concessions
Northern Virginia’s local governments and regional entities are taking important steps to foster sustainability in the region. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority commitment to sustainability is engendered in its plan and the voluntary program they have engaged their concessions with.
Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority officials honored Reagan National's first award winners in the Green Concessions Program on Wednesday. The recognition ceremony lauded the businesses that are taking voluntary steps to make sustainable changes.

Program participants are listed on the Airports Authority’s website, along with easy-to-identify decals added to their storefronts as concessionaires are individually certified.
