Flood Map Lunch and Learn Webinar Video
NVRC staff provided a lunch and learn webinar on the NOVA Flood Map, a new online platform to provide open access to near-real time precipitation data from multiple sources in the region.
Funded by Virginia’s Community Flood Preparedness Fund, the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, and NOAA through U.S. Senate Appropriations from Senators Warner and Kaine, NOVA Flood Map is the result of a pilot project intended to evaluate the opportunities and benefits of connecting and optimizing the rainfall-runoff monitoring network in Northern Virginia.
